WatsuCreated by Harold Dull in 1980’s, Watsu™ is a combination of the shiatsu practice , massage and stretching in warm water (35 °C)*.
Watsu increases range of motion, elongates the spine, stretches muscles, and relieves tension and stress. The warmth and hydrostatic pressure of the water promotes healthy circulation and calms the nervous system. These positive effects often continue after the session, resulting in better sleep, less anxiety, and improved digestive function.
* Watsu sessions take place in a physiotherapist’s swimming-pool in the Alpes-Maritimes.
